About

I graduated from New York University, earning a Master of Social Work. I am currently an advanced candidate at the Derner Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of Adelphi University. This simply means that I have a very specific training which aids me in helping you know the deepest parts of yourself, the parts of you before all of life’s traumas set in and caused your life to take a different shape.

I have a background in diverse settings, ranging from an inpatient psychiatric unit to a high school to private practice. My training, as well as my own experience as a patient, enable me to be truly and fully emotionally and mentally present with my patients, allowing them to be who they are and discover their authentic selves in the process. Today in private practice, I mostly work with adults who are seeking to live and feel healthier and more alive, from the inside out.

I aim to help people experience long-term and permanent change. While there are no “quick fixes” and easy solutions to navigating life’s traumas, this hard work is well worth it and I will be a gentle, supportive guide throughout the entire process. As we work together, you’ll walk down the path towards discovering your true self and begin to experience the liberation that health and authenticity bring.
